Loop Starter, Gopher, and Dynamic Mixer Tracks are three new smart tools for FL Studio, using AI to spark new ideas.

FL Studio 2025 is the latest update to the beloved DAW. The update is free to all existing owners and introduces three new tools with a focus on artificial intelligence. The update comes with a series of new tools features, presets, and fixes with their lifetime guarantee offering them to all existing owners.

The headline tool is the new Loop Starter. This smart tool quickly generates ideas into the Channel Rack which can be tweaked to spark inspiration or used as jumping off points. Users can choose from genres to create a stack of loops.

Pair these loops with fully editable step sequencer tracks which load the one-shots based on the genre. Users can quickly regenerate a new track or the whole stack, allowing for quick brainstorming of musical ideas with loops. These ideas can be easily sent to the playlist to expand upon.

Loop Starter uses FL Cloud’s library containing millions of sounds. The loops generated are completely free to FL Studio owners and the sounds it uses in its loops require no subscription.

The second new tool is Dynamic Mixer Tracks, “a highly-requested feature”. This allows producers to add mixer tracks that fit the size of the project. Audio Clips can be stretched, pitched, and with reverse controls for each clip allowing faster editing and deeper control.

Then there is Gopher, a new AI-powered chat-bot that promises to be a production expert and assistant to producers. Gopher has been trained on FL Studio to provide intuitive answers about how to use the DAW and its tools.
